These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the NextRank marketing website at nextrank.io (the “Site”). NextRank is operated by Policy Assist LLC (“NextRank,” “we,” “us”). These Terms apply only to this Site; our app and anything you buy inside it are governed by our Terms of Service. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Our former waitlist
Before NextRank launched, the Site offered a waitlist. It closed on October 5, 2026, once the app was available on iPhone and Android. If you joined it, joining was not a purchase, a subscription, or a contract to buy anything, and it created no payment obligation. We may still contact you about NextRank until you unsubscribe.
No guarantee of results
NextRank helps you prepare for first responder certification and promotional exams using study methods supported by cognitive science. We describe our methods and features honestly, but we do not guarantee any exam result, score, promotion, or other outcome. Your results depend on many factors outside our control, including your own preparation. Product features, pricing, exam coverage, timelines, and availability described on the Site are current plans and may change.
Independence and educational use
NextRank is an independent training and examination-preparation platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any law enforcement agency, civil service commission, or other governmental entity unless expressly stated. Examination content and training materials are provided for educational and preparation purposes only. Users should rely on official agency and civil service sources for current examination requirements, policies, and procedures. Any agency, examination, or certifying-body names on the Site are used for identification only.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- disrupt, damage, or interfere with the Site or its security;
- access it using automated means such as scraping or bots, except standard search-engine indexing;
- submit false information or another person’s information without their permission; or
- use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including text, design, graphics, logos, and the NextRank name and marks, are owned by NextRank or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to view the Site for its intended purpose. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from it without our permission.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NextRank and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold NextRank harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to a different venue.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will stay in effect.
